Makeup Tips for the Girl on the GO!

So, I Loooove makeup. I wear it almost everyday.
But just like any other girl, "I've got place to go and things to do!"
I don't have time to sit in front of a mirror for an hour, let alone 10 minutes!
So here are some tips that I learned through experiment that might help you!

For the Face:

1. If your skin isn't too bad, skip the foundation.
-It's a long, tedious step that a lot of us don't even need to do! Now some of you may wear it because you have bad acne or you have a scar, etc. If you feel you just can't go without your handy dandy skin perfecter then by all means, do what's comfortable for you! But the foundation step is one of the longest steps in the makeup process and I've learned, it will save you tons of time if you just skip it and move on!

2. Opt for mineral foundation/powder.
-Even if you don't mind skipping foundation but you want a little something to even your skin, opt for a mineral foundation and apply it with a big powder brush like you would your normal finishing powder.
This still evens out your skin but save a lot of time vs. the old foundation application. Try Almay-Wake up Mineral Foundation

3. Highlighter could possibly be your best friend!
    - Another tip to try is highlighter! If your goal is the morning is just to look a little less tired than you do. Use these steps:
Splash your face with cool water.
Pat dry.
Apply highlighter to bridge of nose, cheekbones and chin.
Brown eyeliner on the top lash line.
And Voila! A bright face ready to face the day! Try Hard Candy-Glow All the Way, Skin Luminizer

    For the Eyes:

1. Eyeliner looks good on Everyone.
    - Now, this really depends on preference. Some people REALLY like eye makeup, and some could take it or leave it. If you want to spice up the eyes but don't want too much attention, simply line your top and bottom lashes with eyeliner. It's quick, fairly easy, and everyone looks good in it. And if you're not too talented with eyeliner don't get discouraged. Try a thicker pencil, they're easier to work with. And they'll save you time too! Try Loreal- Voluminus Smoldering Liner. If you're like me, I Have to
have some eyeshadow. A light sweep of matte brown will
                                                                          do nicely.

2. Make it Stay All Day.
    - So at this point some of you may be saying, "It's not the first application I have issues with! It's the second and the third and the fourth!" They actually have made some great products for that problem that you may not know about! It's called Primer! They have it for eyes and face, even lips! Try Urban Decay- Primer Potion for eyes. This product will keep you from having to redo your makeup 5 gagillion times! If the price of this primer is a bit too steep for you, you can also try BH cosmetics- Eye and Lip Primer. Which is about half the price. The BH primer is good; however, I recommend the Urban Decay.

3. Use Eyeshadow Multiples.
      - For example: A lot of times when you go down the makeup aisle you see eyeshadow palettes with more than one color in them. Try the ones that are made for your eye color. This makes eyeshadow application a lot less of a guessing game and makes your eye makeup look great. Try Almay- Intense i-color eyeshadow. They have three options: Satin, Shimmer, and Smoky. If you are older and have wrinkles STAY AWAY FROM THE SHIMMER! It's not flattering!

One last tip:
If you can never seem to get those nude lips that are so hot right now, try putting a little of that primer of your lips and applying a normal chapstick like Blistex. Works like a charm!

So those are a few of my tips for time saving in the morning.
And most of all, remember, you're beautiful!
Hope you liked it!

Yours Truly,
Tara.
